Earl Palmer, session drummer who played on such classics as Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti" and The Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," has died. He was 84. He was playing on many, many famous songs such as Ike and Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High and many others. His drums can also be heard on TV themes such as, The Flintsotnes theme, M.A.S.H., The Partridge Family and many others. Palmer was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. Some people say he was probably the greatest session drummer ever.
