George Michael has died at his home in Oxfordshire. Michael's publicist said that he had 'passed away peacefully' at his property. Michael, 53, had previously battled alcohol and drug addiction. However, the circumstances around his death are currently unknown. The singer - whose real name is Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou - sold more than 100 million albums throughout a career spanning almost four decades. He started as the frontman of the duo Wham! with partner Andrew Ridgeley and later he became a solo artist. Famous for songs like 'Last Christmas', Wake me up before you go-go', 'Careless Whisper' and many, many others.
